Last year between my clients and volunteering for Dallas DogRRR and various other rescues I photographed over 1500 animals. I feel like this is my comfort zone, this is where I excel. I have always been an animal advocate and for many years I photographed animals at high kill shelters. Getting into a 10X10 cage with an unknown canine, trying to do my best to capture their good side for marketing and networking. I am respectful of the needs of the animals I photograph; I don’t rush things and I respect their boundaries. I am happy to discuss any concerns or special needs you may have with regard to your pet.

Family comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors and sometimes it walks on four legs. Are you celebrating bringing a new puppy into your life, marking the passage of time with your companion pet in family pictures, or preparing to say goodbye to your best friend? I work very closely with livestock, companion pets, and wildlife and do my best to ensure a relaxing and non-stressful experience for all my non-human friends.

During the session, I highly encourage owners to join in and be part of the fun. Your presence not only helps your pup feel comfortable and at ease but also allows me to capture the special bond between you and your furry friend. Bringing along treats and toys is also a great way to engage your pup and capture their authentic expressions and interactions.

Our companion pets are such a big part of our family and as they grow older or become ill we want to do everything to preserve the last moments with them. I do everything I can to capture the love and everlasting bond of your special friend while keeping them comfortable and stress-free. Time is not a factor in these sessions, I take the time needed to keep everyone relaxed, and often the dogs that come for these sessions have a wonderful day. My acreage is fully fenced and they get a chance to have a sniff adventure while I follow them and get some natural photographs. If they get overheated or chilled we move into my climate-controlled studio. Their comfort is very important to me.

Rescue Pets
My heart is for the homeless, the abandoned, and the ones left behind. I work closely with several rescues and shelters to photograph animals in need to facilitate their networking, fundraising, and pleas for foster and adoptive families.
